Julie Paterson is a textile designer, an artist and a keen eater of food, especially cheese. For almost twenty years her company Cloth has been making now iconic fabric designs printed in NSW on sustainable hemp and linen. For just as long Julie has been making artworks in all sorts of mediums. And she’s been eating cheese for even longer.
Amanda Kaye used to teach high school English so she mostly knows where the commas should go. One day she realised it was time to do something new – something that involves food and words and stories. She feels a bit odd writing this in the third person.
Julie and Amanda are partners in life and partners in this project, and they hope you enjoy Splayd and Crayon.
